We oppose Amendment 2! We opposed the so-called Florida Marriage Protection Amendment from the start, and we support equal marriage rights for all couples, regardless of gender.  Unfortunately, it was approved by Florida's voters on Election Day.  We strongly condemn the homophobia, intolerance, and discrimination that led to the passage of this amendment.
Out of Iraq Now! The Socialist Party has opposed the occupation of Iraq since it began.  Members of the Socialist Party of Tampa Bay and people from all walks of life participated in the March 19 rallies in Brooksville and Tampa to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the occupation of Iraq.  Click here to see pictures.
