Complete a criminal complaint. Then, ask your law enforcement officer to forward a copy of that complaint to Captain Rolando Silva; Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, District 14. Captain Silva has started an Engel Threat file. Your assistance will ensure corrective action can occur.

SPF Voters support localisms as democracy within Florida

Amendment 4 is a proposed amendment to the Florida Constitution sponsored by Florida Hometown Democracy, a non-partisan, grass-roots group. Over 1,000,000 Florida voters signed the Florida Hometown Democracy petition to qualify this important citizens' reform for the November 2010 ballot. Amendment 4 will give you, the Florida voter, a vote on growth in your community.

Each of us has a huge stake in growth decisions that can drastically alter our community's future for generations to come. Each community has adopted its own comprehensive plan: a long-term master plan for sensible growth. Currently, elected city and county commissioners have exclusive power to make changes to the plan. Rising taxes, falling home values, gridlocked roads, dwindling water supplies and Florida's disappearing beauty are just some of the devastating consequences of Florida politicians' habit of rubberstamping speculative plan changes.

Hometown Democracy Amendment 4 changes all that by giving voters veto power over these changes to your community's master plan for growth.

With Amendment 4, your power to vote on growth will enable you to preserve your neighborhood and your community and protect the value of your home.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall..."

This website is a media source for SPF Voters. It is a mirror held up so the party can see their public perception. If you do not like what you see or read; then help become the change we need to achieve, in order to bring about socialism in Florida.

It appears the National Committee feels that a new Socialist Party is in formation. The problem with that thinking is they really do not know and continue to speculate the nature of what is actually happening. To help clear things up, the party itself (SPFL) has chosen to use segregation law that makes all political parties private clubs to keep out whomever is not kissing Luzietti or Pason's backside. This group is the voters whom in the past supported the party, but today only support socialism in the social and economic sense and working theory, not the current state or national management who are currently using hate law to divide out those from a personal level from ideologue, pejorative, power as perversions of socialism.

The voters who are not members, 600 of us, are free to associate with whomever we wish since their willingness to except us is and has been closed off. This clique has been making choices without consent or input from the voters and doing so in our name without permission. To address in the first part - social - we as voters must be included for better or worse without exclusionary hate law to then address the second part - economic - working theory of socialism from radical democracy as localism be it in any of its multi-tenency forms.

Eric Chester of the International Commission Speaks in Glasgow Scotland

Eric Chester is best known for his roll as liaison in the Grass Roots Tendency of the SPUSA. He has openly expressed and described the SPUSA as a multi-tendency democracy party and seeks comradeship with like parties around the world.

The G.R.T. furthermore describes itself in this way, "The Grass Roots Tendency is an organized political tendency (or caucus) within the Socialist Party USA, supporting a revolutionary socialist politics. Its main goals are maintaining the independence of the Socialist Party from the two-party system and preserving the SP's multi-tendency internal democracy."

Welcome!

The name of our great state translates to means flower in Spanish. Florida has a long history of being sought after by freedom seeking individuals from many nations since our early days. It is only right that socialists too searching for freedom and individualism use as their brand a flower. The color red is a psychological one; it brings passion for those freedoms Florida's history has echoed. Red is also a color of anger for the oppression and inequalities still in our society. The color for love being red, is in our hearts how we relate socially to each other for a progressive and civil ordered society. Florida has come far since its discovery, it is now several hundred years later and we as a more advanced society should take a serious look at making a great leap forward in the 21st century.

Freedom

The Socialist Party of Florida is based on the ideals of autonomy, individualism, and encompasses a political philosophy of multi-tendency instead of a single-minded ideology or exclusionary dogma i.e. democratic socialism, social democracy, Christian socialism, libertarian socialism, and several grass rooted organizations throughout our great state by local activists and voters. Please feel free to also talk to Chairman Brian Moore in his forum once you become a member here. These are major focal points in radical democracy for liberty and justice. In post Marxian terms, we believe - among many things - the economy should be transformed into a socialist economy that is publicly owned and democratically controlled. A divide between the wealthy few and the working poor have reached its near peek. The production of goods and services are created by the people and the benefits should be shared by everyone equitably. Our economy should focus on meeting people's basic needs such as health-care, education, food and shelter, rather than profits. Beyond the economic terms socialists look into the whole person philosophy of how an individual works within society and its' institutions. As socialists are internationalist at heart, there too, are questions related from our institutions with regard to globalization.

The Gap Grows

A small percent of the public controls our resources and political power, while the rest of society is oppressed and excluded. Discrimination on the basis of race/ethnicity, gender, age, class, religion, ability/disability and sexual orientation prohibits us from working cooperatively for the benefit of the community. Instead we are compelled to compete with each other and perpetuate the economic and social system of inequality. We believe electoral politics should be the purpose of any political party, but we also propose immediate solutions to capitalism's social and economic problems. We advocate a political process open to all points of view.

Resist

Our flag is red and what freedoms it demands has no communistic stars or farm implements such as the hammer and sickle. We are reformers, radicals, resisters, and revolutionaries within our own spectrum of progressive or reforming the reformer and sometimes conservative modes. At times we can be liberal, but not without good reason. We are not the elephant in the room or the ass across the way. There is good reason never to work with elephants and asses: They are tools of the capitalists. Our color is red as our flag and it movingly welcomes all who have gained class consciousness beyond the basic Marxist version. The reason for no twinkling stars or farm implements is simple: Socialists are not communists. Symbolism beyond those are strictly of socialism are not allowed here. Extensive hateful posting on dead Russians have no place here either. Reference for citation is allowable. Socialists are not limited by one or two authors and are open to their own opinions if academically researched and properly cited.

Militant Tendency

The State of Florida has openly allowed the Militant Tendency to have their own socialized ballot under the name Socialist Workers Party, SWP for short.

While this group is a close cousin it is not multi-tendency or radical democracy. According to the Oxford Political Dictionary, 2009, it is defined as "Trotskyist" (p.344). Furthermore from Oxford and other historical text, in agreement, this group has continued "the essence of its tactics was to commit the party to direct action in support of a set of unattainable transitional demands, the inevitable failure to achieve which would lead to further overtly anti-democratic activity." This clearly has been shown these last few years within the SPFL party by closing off debate and failure to keep a website to contact (being social) and holding your ballot at a distance telling you who to vote for instead of having a say. The Resistance Tendency aims to push out all hateful elements and focus on our diversity and peaceful social leanings. The state has given them a ballot so they need not use ours for their agenda. Join the party to displace their anger with solidarity.

Help us bring back all our tendencies of radical democracy because more democracy leads to socialism : note to readers, socialism has its' own left and right outside of the two major party system.

There is also a focus to bring in new social movements to keep up with the times for local Floridians. Some might be radical like the French term radis for radishes, red on the outside but white on the inside. We are not to be perfect or ideologically pure for doing so leads to anti-social and negative actions and words. We are to be respectful, open, and honest. This is why a Militant Tendency will never truly fit into a multi-tendency flock of voters no matter how hard they force their way in. In the end they will be found out and expelled like history's past has proven time and time again.

Those who call themselves Trotskyist or call for similar actions are free to join their Militant Tendency by clicking here, Florida Socialist Workers Party.

Respectful Diversity and Society

Socialism and socialists do not reside in a single county, city or in the hands of a few persons. Socialism to be effective is to be social first to help the whole person to affect progressive change. The Resistance Tendency that is this website's membership is based on much broader social relationships than the few ideological aggregate of hateful messages coming from the other side's hypocrisy. Our state is several hundred miles long and wide having 67 counties; the few elite usurped on the ballot status do not reflect the actual social nature of Florida. In fact the elitists have outright negated your opinions and say in these matters.

Reversing Negative Trends

The current loss of massive membership numbers nationally has resulted from the near degenerated bureaucratic themidorian status and lack of clear planning or public willingness to be different from the two major capitalist parties in action. While there is understanding in having conversations to conduct party business there is no excuse to be "the same old same" since apathy towards the body political is at a new low with misleading general media outlets giving false credits to the party of asses. As would be theoretical socialists we are human and we err. So that we are shown in-kind, as being real with people, we must relate to all the people on their level no matter where they are in the state otherwise the behavior is noted to be anti-social and having negative reinforcements allowing only an elite few in self-praise to cloister themselves in hidden places. If we are truly of propinquity in Florida then our social participation will never be fleeting interaction but rather a great discourse coming to a complex and fully explaining means of dealing with our unique issues here in Florida where being social first is a must in the world's greatest tourist destination.

Socialist Party of Florida verses the Socialist Voters

Up until pre-civil right era, Smith v. Allwright (1944)  stated that political parties were "private, voluntary associations". So long as political parties were to be considered "private, voluntary associations", they were free to exclude whomever they wished from membership. This included race, creed, and color too.

Later in 1965 came the Honorable George A. Sprinkel, IV a registered Democrat from the Ninth Judicial Circuit in downtown Orlando, Florida.  His ruling was upheld by a panel of three white judges at the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Daytona Beach. This once again created/reaffirmed  political parties as "private, voluntary associations".

The Honorable Emerson Thompson as Chief Judge for the Fifth District Court of Appeals had the authority under Rules 2.040 and 2.050. Trial Court Administration, Florida Rules of Judicial Administration, to assign himself to any case, yet, in the case of Kelly v. Oliver, 826 So. 2d 317 (2002), his court issued a PCA, per curiam affirmed. "Per curiam affirmed" means that all of the judges of the court are of one mind that the question involved is so clear that it is unnecessary to elaborate the matter any further. And what was the question involved in Kelly v. Oliver? The question was, "Are political parties private, voluntary associations who have a First Amendment freedom of association right to determine their own membership and rules for governing themselves?" So why didn't the Honorable Judge assign himself to a case that contradicted the legal victory that Thurgood Marshall achieved in Smith v. Allwright? Maybe Emerson has vivid memories of his "Jim Crow" days and knows that when the white power structure, who made him a judge in the first place, gathers and springs to life, it is best to busy yourself with some other matter and wait for things to return to "normal".

The above legalese is to be cited from the BRS PTY in Florida which was founded based on the absurdity of Jim Crow laws. What is more shameful is that State Secretary Marc Luzietti under the guidance of National Secretary Greg Pason is using these same segregation laws to keep socialists separated in an attempt to control the socialist movement in Florida. Luzietti and Pason are an embarrassment to the whole cause for doing so.

In brief, the legalese,  creates another problem. A Stalinistic structure of abuse if one person has too much assumed power or perceived authority. This is the first problem with the Socialist Party of Florida which has intentionally excluded SPF registered voters from being members of free will. In fact it is extremely anti-social legislation that directly keeps the people from direct struggle through their total political means. Why are we as SPF Voters letting Luzietti get away with using the same hate while standing against hate? This makes no sense except to say that many voters are unaware of the law. As socialists we must always be on the lookout for such pitfalls. This has now led to a perceived power base where there actually is no authority of SPF Voters to act on their behalf. This is abuse. This is Stalinism in action.

Even the Socialist Party of the United States of America backs this anti-social campaign by requiring a fee:

ARTICLE III: Membership, Section 2: "A member in good standing is a member that has remitted dues to the Party..."

In the follow section we see that only a handful of elite without a vetting process can with ease make personal possible attacks on voters:

Section 4: Applications for enrollment as a member in good standing of the party, shall be acted upon by the local organization or the local executive committee, subject to review by the local organization.

Who watches the watchers?  The fact is only one person does this, National Secretary Greg Pason. How does he do it? He holds several offices in an anti-democratic and hypocritical fashion.

Offices held by Greg Pason that raise major conflict of interest  and are anti-social and anti-democratic:

  • National Secretary
  • member of standing National Committee
  • member of National Action Committee
  • State Secretary New Jersey
  • Local Secretary Montclair

An additional conflict of interest is that his wife, Andrea Pason is a Co-chair of the National Party. We also take note that her neighbors in New Jersey don't care too much for her judging by the pictures they post citing her commanding style from her and Greg's skinhead days of their youth. "Hate begets hate" as many socialists have told and been told. Why has Andrea Pason chosen to create and encourage hate and not to resolve issues? We as SPF Voters can venture with ease that it as something to do with corruption of power in that her husband is the only paid employee of the Socialist Party of the United States of America. Any interference or loss of control cannot be tolerated - in true skinhead fashion - which is why she is Greg Pason's secondary vote or ace in the hole when the chips are down. They learned well from their nationalist front komrades on the process of strong arming the politico and talking from one side while doing the opposite in action. Let their foolery stop by removing them from their abusive power haus. There is no place for authoritarianism in the term that means companion and friend, being socialism. Reject their use of hate law and become a Voter.

Stalin himself grabbed and held power because he controlled the information and how it flowed to other contact points, or not. This too, was done so no one could move up the chain of command to challenge the 'Party of Pason'. Here in Florida, we as voters face an appointed puppet of Greg Pason who seemingly has all but destroyed the party holding the ballot hostage.

The compounded problem is that both are also officers of the New Jersey state level. If there is ever a complaint within a local about an officer who would be addressed up the chain of command? In a social and democrat way, the people from below cannot be the same people up the ladder. This raises social justice concerns in how an organization is in fact operated.

Even in our current limited republic an elected official must resign from one office before occupying another to allow for fair play and growth.

In a social organization claiming to be better than other parties it baffles the mind that by example it is less democratic while claiming to stand for radical democracy (more democracy under the concept of localism), social justice without an ethics officer or judicial committee, and for civil rights when it is abusing voters and members by following an archaic law that supported Jim Crow laws.

In a recent statement on Socialist Webzine regarding the plane which crashed into the IRS building in Ausin, TX whereas the party defends the cause for all worker's labor, not the act or crime, National Secretary Greg Pason writes in his closing paragraph:

"As the Party's platform states, the Socialist Party is committed to the rights of free speech, free press, free assembly, and personal privacy. We condemn the so-called 'War on Terrorism' and the call for the immediate repeal of the U.S.A.P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act.  We also strongly oppose so-called anti-terrorist measures and criminal code reforms that restrict legitimate dissent." ~ Tuesday, 2 March 2010.

Now if we as Socialist Voters are to believe that Pason really stands by his own written words, we shall expect a full reverse on any legal attack against Socialist Voters who express their views on this website or any other website. This will allow fully dissent as a leading example to what radical democracy is in moving towards socialism. This openness not to attack and except dissent will be proof that the party really does stand for a free press and speech. While many Socialist Voters express concern for their privacy there is a greater right to know who is representing them to the world and for a reciprocal expression from voters to return the favor by placing their trust in their representatives; therefore, said persons cannot expect privacy while being a pubic figure.

This expression for betterment on Pason's part could be furthered by his resignation from all but one of his elected offices and him or his wife resigning due to the conflict of interest it raises within the social geometry making it once more symmetrical. This should gather great impetus for the party to grow membership and place even greater trust in its national office to fairly resolve issues.

In response to both the SPUSA and the SPFL

The response to all the above has come down to what might be an interesting legal case being dreamed up by Marc Luzietti as the acting State Secretary, quintessentially appointed by National Secretary Greg Pason with 22 members, having only about five being active. To force 617 SPF registered voters to not have free association or will, communicate, talk, email, write, post, shake hands. and so on because He said so, in Stalinist fashion.

This website is itself a public club for the SPF and independent Voters of Florida who have been told they cannot belong to the "private, voluntary associations".  If the SPUSA and the SPFL does not want socialists except when they can afford the fee or when we are deemed "socialist enough" for the revolutionary section, THE PARTY can kiss any hope of actual socialism in their name good-bye. We as socialists of all types do not need a party or a ballot. All we need is to is talk freely and openly among our Brothers and Sisters in unity towards a solidarity of action from the ground up.

Bottom line, the National Committee will have to ask why the party is less when it could be more in being actually social, more democratic than current government as it claims to be, standing up against hate legislation instead of using it to divide the struggle, and removing any Stalinists from office so no socialist should ever face another kangaroo court or revert its' brand back to the two 'white' hands with the motto, "Whites Only".

Long Live the Resistance Tendency!

What was the last thing said by many socialists who fled to the Stalinist Comintern before being shot for not being revolutionary enough?

Statement of Purpose:  Our work is directed at helping build an international socialist feminist movement that will replace capitalism with a democratic socialist society that ensures full economic, political, personal, and interpersonal rights for all women.  This will require such structural provisions as gender balance and feminist process within our socialist organizations; such programmatic demands as pay equity and the right to abortion on demand within our Socialist Party platform; and ongoing efforts to recruit and retain women in our Party and in our movement through personal contacts, political candidacies, literature, public events, radical caucuses within our labor unions, and coalition work.  We believe that those who would dare to push the clock back on the discoveries women have made regarding their personal and political selves do the entire democratic socialist movement a monumental disservice.

At the bottom of each page is a disclaimer like many websites have. Legal ownership of a domain name has already been defended in court. Throughout all the text, this website is well defined.

This website is not a limited party only club. It is for SPF voters who cannot afford dues or put up with limiting problems that may arise from being a party member like legal threats.

Federal Election Commission does not give or authorize any party to have "sovereignty." The official website for the party - not voters - is listed with its' respective party.

SPF voters cannot be expelled from what is freely allowed in Florida by the sovereign state endowed with the authority of the people. Persons of their own freewill register to vote SPF based on their inalienable right to freedom of speech and assembly. No one person or group controls what is legal by state and federal law. This website is part of the protection for the freedom of SPF voters to speak freely and to meet freely. SPF voters are not drones under the control of oppression, in fact, actual oppression is what socialism stands against. The road to socialism is through radical democracy, not less democracy.

99.99% of SPF voters are not members of any party. Statewide, the party, according to the last national convention record was allowed five delegates. This translates to a total membership of between 35-40 members in good standing. That number is so low that pulling from three counties, Palm Beach, Broward, Dade, with millions of voters, it takes to force create the only working local of just five persons who are now making claim to a ballot status. It boggles the mind to think about the ego here that excludes hundreds of voters and attacks other locals around the state for power or authority that is not there.

While on the topic of "unofficial" please note that any group either in or out of the party is or is not listed on the unofficial groups page. The Resistance Tendency, being direct contact with each other, for SPF voters and not directly party members does not need or require permission to be "unofficial." The fact that a web page exist is a poor joke against caucus voters who stand behind specific social ideas as they come into political play. A compounded factor viewing the unofficial groups page is that there are two unofficial groups listed where once there were many. The party is no longer multi, but rather bi-tendency giving even more reason for this website to exist for SPF voters. Note at top, Resistance Tendency in the introduction several ideologies an schools of thought were listed and the purpose of resistance is to keep multi-tendency alive and well.

Baltimore MD Twitter Steve Sears @flsocialist Slanders SPF Voters

Wednesday, 10 December 2009

Steve R. Sears of Baltimore, MD writes, "@socptyfl is a fraud. Claiming to be the Florida party when he's been kicked out. A lair, a thief and a fraud. Ban him. Socialist beware," on his Twitter account.

For the record, this is not and never has claimed to be the formal party and will never be part of the formal party. This is a free provide service for SPF and independent voters to protect their First Amendment rights for free speech and to assemble. The national party does not recognize us because we are not members of the party, but humble voters and poor workers. The State of Florida does not and never has listed this domain because we are, again, not part of the party but voters.

If there was a hearing, trial, expelling, theft, fraud, then please provide all the evidence needed to provide as proof to this outright slander against the voters who are not members of your party, however, still support socialism as multi-tendencies without your limits or short comings Mr. Sears.

To warn the voters is to provoke a false fear from your party's short comings by not providing such a service is disingenuous and a disservice to the hundreds of socialistic voters who cannot afford to be part of the party elite.
